This week, the Friendship Fire Company Diving-Rescue Unit significantly elevated their skills and expertise by participating in the UPT Fire & Emergency Services Joint Water Rescue Task Force nighttime training drill. In this immersive training experience, numerous boats and team members were deployed to the Schuylkill River with a crucial mission: to locate and safely rescue six individuals in a simulated emergency scenario. Teamwork between all the various participating companies led to the successful location and rescue of all simulated victims.
