Yesterday, shortly before 3 PM, Friendship Diving-Rescue Unit was dispatched to support Station 48, Glen Moore Fire Company, with a search operation for two missing individuals. Upon our arrival, ground crews from Glen Moore Fire Company, ATV units from both Station 49, East Brandywine Fire Company & Station 69, Twin Valley Fire Department, along with local Law Enforcement, were already conducting extensive search efforts. We deployed our DJI M30t and Autel Robotics EVO II Dual 640t UAVs (drones), both equipped with thermal imaging technology designed to detect heat signatures more effectively. After hours of coordinated search efforts, the missing persons were successfully located. The Chester County Department of Emergency Services Incident Support Team provided personnel and a trailer for Command Units to better assist with the search efforts.
